Bird Water Feeder - 7 units
Bird water feeders for pet birds —like budgies, finches, conures, cockatiels and parrots— that attach from the outside of the cage and use mini soda bottles as their water refill. It makes it easy to change water daily.
This order includes 7 units of feeders. One for each day of the week! This gives each water feeder enough time to dry out.
Ideally the feeder set should be changed every 6 months for good hygiene. But they can go longer, depending on the climate you live in.
Naturally, hot and humid environments may require frequent changes (4-6 months) compared to cold and dry environments (6-8 months).
But you are encouraged to use your best judgement for your little ones! Everyone is different, and one set of instructions should probably not be used for everyone.
That said, I request you to go through the instructions below carefully.
Please reach out to me, if you have any questions at all. I would be happy to help you!

How to use?
- Take the feeder of the corresponding day and your bottle and rinse them with tap water.
- Fill the bottle halfway and screw on the feeder, until it can’t rotate anymore.
NOTE: It should fit securely and you shouldn’t try to over tighten it. It may damage the bottle. - Flip the whole thing upside down. There should be a nice pool of water forming in the feeder.
- Now stick it between the cage bars from the outside at your convenient height. It should fit securely at the latching points.
That’s it!
Now remember to change it daily and repeat these steps every day.
Common Mistakes
- You must not use any abrasive materials like, a wire brush, Scotch-Brite pad, steel wool etc. to clean it. Plastic is soft and it will get damaged over time and retain more dirt!
NOTE: You can use dish soap to rinse them or use an ultra soft brush to clean them. There shouldn’t be any need for that if you change them daily and replace the whole set in around 6 months. - DO NOT leave them in the sun! The feeders are made from a special polymer called PLA, which is ideal for 3D printing but cannot survive in the UV rays of sun for long periods of time.
- DO NOT soak them in hot water (not greater than 50 Celsius). Again, this is due to the properties of PLA, which make it soft at higher temperatures.
